2007 Taltarni Sauvignon Blanc

Information & Tasting Notes

Taltarni's is one of the pioneers of Sauvignon Blanc. Taltarni Sauvignon Blanc 2007 is crafted entirely from fruit sourced from Taltarni's vineyards in Victoria's Pyrenees and Tasmania. The cool climate of Victoria's Pyrenees is ideally suited to producing a zesty and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. Inclusion of Tasmanian fruit is a distinctive characteristic of Taltarni's Sauvignon Blanc - imparting lifted gooseberry, citrus and grapefruit flavours. Sealed under screwcap ensures the wine retains absolute freshness to the very last drop.

Winemaker's Comments: A brilliant, bright luminescent straw colour with green tinges bursting with a mix of passionfruit, lychee and grapefruit aromas and hints of lime. Taltarni Sauvignon Blanc 2007 is the perfect spring and summer wine. Extending Taltarni's long tradition of French winemakers, winemaker Loïc Le Calvez creates an exceptional and diverse portfolio of award winning wines that showcase excellence and distinctively express the true varietal and regional characteristics.
