Pinot Grigio from North-east Italy. This would have to be the best pinot grigio I have had all year. Not only does it have true varietal character of pear and apple but also good concentration of fruit that is perfectly balanced with fine acidity. If only all grigio tasted this good! Drink 2008. Given a score of 92 points by the World Wine Guide.
