Chianti Classico from Central Italy. Isole e Olena is a beacon of quality in Tuscany with a brace of fabulous wines including a wickedly sweet Vin Santo. This is another excellent release of its Chianti Classico with juicy, ripe fruit, beautiful balance and structure and a little herb and spice to finish. It really needs serious Italian fare to show its best. Drink 2008-2016. Given a score of 93 points by the World Wine Guide.
