Les Moines Hospitalières Côtes-du-Rhône from Rhone Valley, France. This is really quite remarkable value for money and reminds me a little of some entry-level Châteauneuf-du-Papes. It is juicy and full of red cherry and plum fruit, with some peppery spicy and dusty/meaty characters coming to the fore on a fleshy palate with a little grip to finish. Search this one out. Drink 2008-2010. Given a score of 90 points by the World Wine Guide.
