Information & Tasting Notes
Valpolicella Classico from North-east Italy. The baby brother of the Amarone, Allegrini's Valpolicella is a juicy and very clean style rippling with red cherry, plum and raspberry fruit with a savoury edge. The palate is fresh and juicy, with layered fruits supported by fine tannins. A lovely style for simple tomato-based pastas. Drink 2008-2010. Given a score of 90 points by the World Wine Guide.
