ABOUT ELMAR'S IN THE VALLEY

Elmar's in the Valley is a German-themed brewery, restaurant, bar and smallgoods shop located in Henley Brook in the heart of the Swan Valley. Surrounded by picturesque hillsides and bursting with characteristic vineyards, with its unique 2 acre turfed beer garden, Elmar's in the is perfect for group Bookings, corporate functions, weddings and much more.

Elmar's also boasts a gorgeous outdoor dining area which can seat up to 400 guests and has its own separate bar. Bring the kids along as there is plenty of room for them to play in the beer garden. Soccer balls and other sporting equipment are welcome, so they can even play a few games between courses! Live music is featured every Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, making Elmar's a great destination for the entire family.

Elmar's in the valley has a huge car park which offers free parking, with allocated bus bays and disability access. Other disability facilities include a bathroom and wheelchair access throughout the restaurant.

ELMAR'S IN THE VALLEY HISTORY

Elmar and Anette Dieren came to Australia from Germany on a working holiday in the early 1980s. Loving the Australian lifestyle, they returned in 1987 to establish their first smallgoods shop. From those early days, they have established Elmar's Smallgoods stores in Myaree and Highgate, and now the beautiful Elmar's in the Valley, Microbrewery and Restaurant.

ELMAR'S IN THE VALLEY BREWERY

Elmar's in the Valley has the largest micro glass brewery in the Southern Hemisphere, with modern glass and copper kettles which can be seen through glass viewing windows by guests enjoying a drink at the bar. Elmar's beer is brewed to the exacting standards of the oldest food standard law in the world – the Bavarian Purity Law, formed in 1516. Elmar's brewery showcases three beers – Ein Stein Pilsner, Kick Back Wheat Beer and Over Draft Ale – as well as a number of specialty brews.

ELMAR'S IN THE VALLEY RESTAURANT

Combined with the huge outdoor beer garden, Elmar's fully licensed restaurant brings a mix of the indoor European and outdoor Australian lifestyles. The restaurant offers an elegant, modern German-style dining experience. The relaxed open-plan interior encompasses the warmth of Bavarian hospitality with its solid timber floors, tables and chairs with topiary and planter boxes mingled amongst the seating.

Elmar's mostly gluten free menu caters for all tastes, featuring traditional German and modern European cuisine incorporating Elmar's preservative free smallgoods. Recommended dishes include the pork schnitzel served with your choice of fries or potato salad, garden salad and a side of creamy mushroom sauce; and the crispy skin pan fried salmon fillet served with lemon infused rice, honey glazed spring onion carrots and white wine sauce.

Traditionally in Germany, pubs and smallgoods stores are located alongside one another to offer complimentary services.
