Elmswood Estate Overview

Make a visit to Elmswood Estate, a boutique winery nestled amongst twenty acres in the Upper Yarra Valley. You’ll be welcomed in the old tractor shed, now the Cellar door for your tasting, and if you favor red or white, you’ll find both here: Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Pinot Noir. If you’re preparing to take your vows consider the exquisite surrounds here, you’ll dine & wine in the fully glassed Pavilion which has 180 degree views.

LOCATION
Elmswood Estate is a boutique winery situated on 20 acres in the Upper Yarra Valley with 180 degree views to die for! This hidden treasure is a must see! Our Cellar Door, built in our old tractor sheds is open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm for tasting. We are located one hours drive from Melbourne. Elmswood Estate is well sign posted off the Warburton Highway. (Melway 305 B6)

GRAPES
Seven different varieties of grape are grown – Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir & Shiraz. Our vines range in age from 15 to 29 years old. These boutique style wines have won awards across all wine shows. Due to our unique position; we are very high up in the Yarra region we are able to harvest very late in the season. This is because we are behind in the growth stages. The end result is fruitier & more complex tastes, keeping everyone pleased.

DINING
Elmswood Estate offers a great variety of Café style meals available for light lunches on Saturdays and Sundays and most public holidays. Come and relax in our glassed room ‘The Pavilion' or sit out amongst the rose garden while enjoying a relaxing meal and a glass of our award winning wines overlooking the vineyard and stunning 180 degree view of the Upper Yarra Valley. A view you must see to believe!

RELAX
For those cooler winter days make yourself at home in our Cellar door curled up on the couch in front of the wood fire.
