Sole e Luna ... the Sun and the Moon, an Italian Restaurant in the heart of the Alpine region in Bright, Victoria, opened its doors in October 2008. Candlelit tables, modern decore and crisp white table cloths upon a romantic red backdrop are all parts of Sole e Luna's fine dining experience, guaranteed to make the ladies swoon and the gentleman suitably impressed. Working in London for several top chef's, Sole e Luna's head chef Frank has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in specializing in gourmet Italian with a modern flair. Courtesy of Frank's passion for food, Sole e Luna's menu is regularly changed, with a few traditional favourites staying put. Sole e Luna's is the perfect location to romantically wine and dine and regularly hold events and theme nights.

Frank is originally a Local, trained in Melbourne, Lived in London for 7 years working as a Celebrity Chef and wanted to offer his Local Community what he had learnt which brings us Sole e' Luna.

Sole e' Luna is Located in the main st of Picturesc Bright, 106 Gavan St. Bright is located at the Base of MT Hotham, surrounded by beautiful mountains, in winter the mountains are peaked with the glow of white snow and Spring and Autumn bring a beautiful arraye of colour through trees and flowers. We ensure that with the seasons we change our menu to keep it exciting and interesting not for only our weekly returners but for our holiday makers that return, which means that our staff are always interested giving you a warm friendly smile with the Best service in town.

Every 6 months or so Frank changes some part of the restaurant furniture to improve the look and the ambience of Sole e' Luna overall. Sole e' Luna is a contemporary design with crisp white table cloths and white linen napkins adding a touch of elegance with Fresh Local Flowers on each table complimenting the restaurant and the waitresses uniforms. Sole e' Luna's latest refurbishment is the Court Yard, fully heated and enclosed for Winter or Open to complement our beautiful warmer seasons, the court Yard also features a water fall as a back drop.

Sole e' Luna signature dish is Homemade Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle, served with sautéed Wild Mushrooms, a touch of cream, porcini and mascarpone puree served in a parmesan Basket drizzled with truffle oil. Our Menu has a large variety of dishes, from Fish Pie in Winter to Seafood salad in Summer, Homemade Pasta's, Local Black Angus, Chicken, Risottos and Slow cooked Ragouts. Everything is made here on the premises even our classic Italian dessert such as Tiramisu, Pannacotto and many more. We cater for Gluten Free and Vegetarians.

We stock a large range of beverages, we use mainly Local Wines from the Alpine and King Valleys regions such as Pizzini, Christmont, Ceccanti, Ferraro and many more.

Learn from the Master of Pasta, Frank is now offering Pasta Classes so that you can learn how to make a Dish just like we offer you here. We also offer Outside Functions, New Years Eve Parties, Functions within the Restaurant, Weddings, Large La ‘Carte or set menu bookings and if unable to accommodate you due to booking we also offer Take-away from our La Carte Menu.
