EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT
Get your excuses ready because Poker is Back. Come at 7pm to register and the game will start at 8pm.
It's only $10.00 buy in to play.
Cash prizes with the entire pool being returned to the players. The season will go for 4 weeks and the winner of each season will get a change to play in the state finals!

The Rye Hotel Overview

Owned for over 30 years by the Houghton family The Rye Hotel is a lovingly refurbished venue, primely positioned for guests to appreciate the breathtaking panoramic views over Port Phillip Bay. Located on Point Nepean Road in Rye directly across from the beach, customers flock to The Rye for it's amazing position, welcoming service and hearty, flavoursome contemporary Australian pub fare.

VIEWS
Boasting magnificent water views from any angle of the hotel, particularly from the spacious alfresco dining area out the front, this venue offers a family friendly, bright, airy and casual atmosphere and open-plan in design. Certain tourist times of the year there is a carnival there. At the 'Main Sail Bar' you will find locals, tradies and passersby enjoying the expansive views whilst unwinding over a drink, and you can be sure you will always served with a smile and efficient service by long-serving staff.

LOCALS
Most of the locals are greeted here with a chat, a smile and a cold glass of their favourite coldie! This bar also attracts the punter, the golfer looking for the 19th, not to mention groups who have met frequently here for decades; the loyalty of patrons to The Rye is a reflection of the quality of service and food you can expect to receive.

OPTIONS FOR KIDS
The imaginative and colourful children's play centre is a drawcard for many parents. The room is designed for children up to 10 years of age, and provides plenty of entertainment with climbing frames, tunnels, slides and features a spaceship equipped with all the relevant controls, providing hours of fun for both kids (and parents who can unwind over a meal and conversation in peace!). Children are well catered for with offerings such as Roast of the Day, Parma and Chips, plus plenty of more choices at a very reasonable price of $7.50. Unless requested, children's meals will arrive prior to other meals to satisfy those hungry stomachs quickly.

THE BISTRO / CAFE
The Bistro/Cafe is the perfect setting for a quiet coffee in the comfortable lounge area. The Bistro is often brimming with happy diners day and night, so bookings are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment. The kitchen is run by their Head Chef Phil Leahy who offers an enthusiastic, energetic vibe to the bistro and his passion lies in his creative cuisine where he is passionate about using only fresh produce and seafood. His value-packed "Specials Board" is always worth a look before making your decision. Seniors are also catered for with a main for $15.50, soup and main for $17.50 or main and dessert for $18.50. All dishes are slightly smaller portions and specials are also available.

Other dishes worth mentioning include Chermoula Lamb fillet salad with warm roast vegetables & toasted cous cous with spiced yoghurt dressing Seasoned Calamari fried with Asian herb salad & wasabi soy dipping sauce. All main courses come with chips and salad unless otherwise indicated. Vegetarians and coeliacs are well catered for here also. The sweets cabinet is laden with a beautiful range of cakes and desserts. Special herbal teas are served in a charming carafe for only $4.00.
