Every year, my husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary at Jacques Reymond.
We always have the degustation menu accompanied with tasting wines for each course.
When you go to a restaurant at this high caliber, you usually expect high prices, however we found Jacques Reymond’s prices to be extremely reasonable for the quality of their menu.
Jacques Reymond appreciates and acquaint with nothing but excellences and elegance in their services and presentations.
Husband and I have been to many “Top Hats” restaurants in Australia, but we find Jacques Reymond to be the “BEST”.

Fantastic and knowledgable staff. Quality ingredients, great flavours and presentation. Jacques Reymond even comes out towards the end of the night to greet the patrons, service at it's best. It is quite pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

Everything live up to our expectations. After having the degustation menu here, everywhere else seems pale in comparison. The staff were knowledgeable in wine & food, service was flawless. What impressed us was, towards the end of the night, the chef Jacques Reymond came out to say hi to the patrons, dropped by our table, even happily took a photo with us, we were made to feel special! Very friendly chef indeed. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was great especially the Chocolate dessert but nothing that blew my partner and I away. Not value for money considering the size of each dish which also made it hard to appreciate all the complex flavours on each dish.

We had a special celebration at Jacques Reymond and the experience was very special indeed. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive without being obtrusive, the almosphere was intimate - an achievement considering how busy they were, and on a week night too. Very expensive but world class. Lucky to have them in Melbourne.

Love this place, they just get it right. Every aspect of dining here is done with such class. The staff on the floor are very knowledgable and make you feel so welcome. The food is sublime. (Never had a bad meal here)Yes, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. Compared to similar restaurants around the world, it's great value. The wine list is spectacular, one of the best in the country.

When you go to a restaurant with this reputation, and you guys have it rated as the best in melbourne along with Vue de Monde. You obviously have very high expectations. Expectations sometimes difficult to live up to. No such problem here. This has to be one of the best restaurants in AUSTRALIA not just Melbourne! This was by far the best meal we've eaten this year. The moment you arrive the place looks grand, the service was beyond reproach, very professional and correct, but also warm and attentive. None of the snobbery you might expect. What can you say about the food?? The degustation menu was superb. Ideal if you can't make up your mind from the A La Carte. The wine list is a BOOK, not a list and with someone else's credit card you could crazy!! Some vey expensive selections, but we found a couple of reasonably priced Aussie's to compliment the food. Let's be frank, this place is expensive. But in my opinion, worth every cent. To most people this is a "special occassion" restaurant. We were made to feel special and had a wonderful night. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
