A Melbourne-Mediterranean fusion of flavour and ambience, a trip to Rhone Wine & Tapas Bar in Albert Park is a contemporary dining experience. Offering a range of top quality imported wines from the likes of France, Spain and Italy, the menu at Rhone Wine & Tapas Bar aptly reflects upon the exotic tastes of the Mediterranean. Paella is Rhone's signature dish and bursts with the rich, robust flavours of chicken, chorizo, mussels, king prawns, saffron and Napoli sauce. Tapas offerings are vast and varied, so why not accompany a glass of red with the arancini balls, prawn and jamon brochettes or pan fried chorizo and feta?

Rhone is a fusion of Medtiterranean flavours both in wines and cuisines.
Our love for tapas and it's unlimited range of options both traditional and contemporary is the driving force of our menu,
but we do offer some great mains and sharing options also.
Like any good food and wine menu, it stays fluid and forever developing as we are always seeking new and exciting options
to present our customers with each week.
The name RHONE is named after the Rhone River, which starts in the Swiss Alpes,travels through the heart of Europe and empties where all Mediterranean countries join together in harmony, the Mediterranean Sea.

We offer a range of Imported Wines from Spain, France, Portugal and Italy and offer some great foreign
"homegrown" varietals too. Our tapas selections are somewhat reflective of this concept but look no further than
Spain when engineering our Paella!
If you haven't tried our Paella then you must, as it seems to be our signature dish, so say our customers!

Manuel Villegas – Head Chef

We are very excited to introduce you to our Head Chef, Manuel Villegas. Manuel, a Catalan chef from Barcelona, brings the true soul of Mediterranean food to Albert Park.

A success in his home country of Spain, Manuel now resides in Melbourne with his family. Manuel's cooking has an emphasis on using the finest ingredients to bring the sensational flavours to life.

Guests of Rhone Wine & Tapas can expect classic contemporary Mediterranean fare including tapas, paella and seafood. Manuel will introduce delectable specials weekly, keeping "true" to what Spanish food really means - simple, fresh, an abundance of flavour.

Manuel's most recent roles have been as Executive Chef of Hairy Canary and Hairy Little Sister, and prior to that at Garcia & Son in Windsor.

Lightly fried goat's cheese with red wine jus and hazelnut sugar; Crispy pork belly with chorizo, carrot and apple puree and sweet sherry deduction Croquetas de jamon y manchego Chorizo con cidre- pan-fried Portuguese chorizo with apple cider and caramelized apple pieces.
