Don't listen to these people, The food and service was sensational. All the food was hot NOT frozen. Seriously who would serve frozen food. All the desserts were fresh and scrumptdiliumtious. Your wine glass was always full and the Peking Duck OMG by the end of the night I started to grow duck wings YUMMO. I highly recommend New Quay Buffet go and try it, it rocks.
the lack of respect to customers ruins an otherwise fantastic restaurant.
I used to love this restaurant and get all my friend there. Until this time a friend visiting me overseas bring his child, 7 years old, junior school grade 1, less than 1.2 metres tall.
The manager asked us afew times and he won't believe, he than turn to the child playing away from the table asking about her age.
It was just rediculous. Why should a loyal customer returns almost everyweek should cheat you for a 20% discount, which was only 9 dollars.
My friend was angrey and the night was not good at all. He went to talk with the manager and the answer was "we have the right to do that". I think he was right, and obviously we also have the right to spreed the story.
WORST restaurant I have been to in a long time. I walked in and the atmosphere is lovely so I was excited... until we went to the buffet... all of the food is FROZEN - spring rolls, calamari, fish, salmon, even the broccalli was frozen. It all tasted disgusting I did not even get through one plate, and for $50 per person i was really upset. Then for dessert - the 'cake' was not cooked so it was like half mixture and half cake, and it had clumps of cocoa in it. All the little desserts were frozen. Even the chocolate moose was horrible. I walked away feeling sick to my stomach, and still felt sick the nxt morning. Please I urge you not to go there.
