The Sichuan Dining Room greets you with a rare and breathtaking, traditional Chinese elegance, befitting of the decadence within. The alluring ambience beckons you; golden adorned columns decorating the entrance subdued red and gold lanterns creating a unique intimacy and spectacular authentic Chinese memorabilia dressing the restaurant to whisk you away; like stepping into a restaurant in Chengdu.

The fascinating dragon sculptures greet you with a vehement appeal on the Glenferrie Road entrance. The décor radiates in its splendour boasting grand mahogany dining chairs and an abundance of gold lacing the entire establishment to add a majestic touch and the staff wear traditional Chinese jackets to complete the atmosphere.

The Sichuan Chefs bring extensive experience direct from Chengdu and are truly talented in creating truly authentic Sichuan cuisine to modern Asian and fresh Japanese-inspired fascinating sashimi sculptures.

The ‘Boiled Dumplings in home made spicy sauce' or ‘Dan Dan Noodle' are extremely delicious and very well priced starters at $3.80 & 5.80 respectively. The ‘Kong Bao Mains Lobster with pepper salt and the ‘Ginger and spring onion or Tenpan squid' is an absolute must try, offering fresh and fragrant seafood flavours which are a specialty of Sichuan. Desserts are traditional and delicious including the ‘Chengdu Glutinous ricecool cake with sweet honey sauce.' All spices are imported from Sichuan to provide authenticity.
