Cheese World is the show case for Warrnambool Cheese and Butter Factory's national and international award winning produce and one of the south west's most popular attractions.
Cheese World is set on the breathtaking backdrop of Australia's Great Ocean Road, opposite Warrnambool Cheese and Butter factory at Allansford, is just 40 minutes travelling time from the famous 12 Apostles and 10 minutes drive from Warrnambool.
The Cheese and Wine Cellar boasts an extensive range of cheeses, wines and gourmet products. Tantalise your palate with free cheese tastings of Allansford and Great Ocean Road Cheese varieties and purchase from our range of Australian made specialty cheeses and local, regional and Australian wines.
No visit to Cheese World is complete without a browse through our recently renovated local history museum. Housing the Uebergang family collection, the museum will give you an insight into life in the early 1900's. A new addition to the museum is the Dave Lee Vintage Engine collection contributed by the Lee family in conjunction with the Warrnambool and District Historical Vehicle Club.
Cheese baskets are made to order and make ideal gifts.

9.00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays
10.00am to 4.00pm on Sundays
Cheese World is more than just a must see tourist destination. The complex includes a supermarket stocking daily household requirements, the famous Cheese and Wine cellar to tempt the palate, a large range of souvenirs, a Restaurant that claims to serve the best milkshakes in the world and a free Museum full of fascinating relics and mementoes from the early 1900's.
