About The Glen Farm Cottages
The Glen Farm Cottages is nestled on a 700 acre working farm, in a breathtaking river valley with cattle, horses, bushland and an abundance of wildlife. Situated only 2km to the spectacular Great Ocean Road and its pristine coastline, shops & restaurants.
This rustic farm exudes a timeless charm offering a chance to escape into a simplistic country adventure. Relax and enjoy the peace & spend quality time with family or friends. Enjoy a walk through the farm with it's creek, bush and heathland setting. Play a game of tennis, or quietly read a book on the cottage verandah.
The mud brick cottages are self contained and have many wonderful features assuring self sufficiency and privacy. These include wood heaters (wood provided), reverse cycle split air conditioners, gas bbq's, colour TV, DVD, X/box players, stereo system with CD, washing machine, and a kitchen with pots, pans, cooking utensils and crockery.
Please note: BYO sheets, pillowslips and towels. Doonas and pillows are on the bed. We can provide linen as an additional extra.
Portacots and high chairs are available on request and at no charge. Baby-sitting can also be arranged.
Visit the Split Point Lighthouse which is available for tours and the tearoom and gallery for a devonshire tea.
The beach at Fairhaven is patrolled during summer by the local Surf Life Saving Club. During summer the club also has a "Nippers" surf awarness program for young children.
Only a short drive along the Great Ocean Road at Torquay, Anglesea or Lorne, are golf courses, bowling greens, restaurants, cafe's and hotels. Fishing is also available in the local creek and beaches.
We welcome responsible cared for pets. Horses can be agisted by arrangement.
We do not allow shooting or motor bikes on THE GLEN.
