Surrounded by the endless vineyards of Hollick Winery is the award-winning Upstairs at Hollick, one of Coonawarra’s finest restaurants. Full length windows afford breathtaking views of the vines & beyond while the barrel store, where you might be lucky enough to see the winemakers at work, is a novelty. Also vying for your attention is Upstairs at Hollick’s menu, an innovative triumph of the region’s finest seasonal produce. Dishes like confit duck leg, tea & oak smoked duck breast served with white polenta and sunflower seed & sherry-soaked raisin salad in redcurrant jus topped with a medley of apple, cabbage, & hazelnut. We saw the opportunity to establish the first Coonawarra Winery Restaurant and set about opening ‘Upstairs' in July 2002.

Upstairs at Hollick is led by Head Chef Tim Foster. Penola born and bred, Tim brings 13 years of experience to the kitchen, and has extensive knowledge of our seasonal and local produce. The kitchen is committed to using locally grown ingredients from both our own Wilgha farm, and other
quality Limestone Coast producers wherever possible.

This place is a great asset to Coonawarra. Liked the food so much at Lunch that we went back for dinner the very same night. A beautiful setting, excellent service and great menu! Catered for Gluten free with ease - including providing a bread roll (which many places don't do unless you book ages in advance). I was most impressed that the restaurant did 1/2 glasses of wine so that you could try a few different varieties with your meal.
