Located in one of Adelaide's oldest and most historic hotels, Signature's Restaurant was created for stylish and intimate fine dining. Welcome to one of Adelaide's oldest and most historic hotels. ‘The Maid' has been a mainstay of the Adelaide hotel scene since it was first built in 1848, with the latest transformation aimed at reinvigorating what had become a tired old watering hole.
The Maid brings with its renovation unprecedented style and prestige. Capitalising on its eastern city fringe location the Maid has proven a hit with any crowd who are all turning up in droves to check out the recently refurbished Maid and Magpie Hotel at Stepney.
Simply known as "The Maid" to its regulars, the landmark pub is reaping the benefits of a very smart $3.6 million redevelopment that has taken over two years to complete.
Hip and elegant, yet welcoming and practical, the new-look beacon at the "Maid and Magpie corner" at the eastern end of North Terrace certainly has been "Maid" to order. Offering many facets including on site a la carte restaurant, bistro and a range of bars to suit any taste including the Maid Bar, Loft Lounge, Bistro Bar and The Beer Garden.
The brand new Beer Garden sports a massive Date Palm has been added on the Payneham Road side and is characterised by the warmth of its timber decking, water features and contemporary outdoor furniture. Housing a hidden Digi-Glass bar for summer and a BBQ it's defiantly the place to be on those warm summer weekends.
The acquisition of two properties behind the hotel has also paved the way for a much larger car park, as well as a detached Function Centre that caters for up to 110 people.
The entire venue has been designed with the upcoming indoor smoking ban in mind, with every bar connected to an outdoor area.
