Apres-Ski Apple

Ingredients

4 tbsp gomme syrup
6 small bitter apples
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
24 oz white dinner wine
12 oz apple cider
1/4 tsp nutmeg
lemon peel

Method

Coat apples in gomme syrup then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake at 375 F 10-15 minutes. Mix remaining and heat slowly at least 15 minutes. Do not boil. Serve in stemmed mug garnished with 1/2 baked apple. (Serves 12).
