We recently stayed at Ash Palms as part of an impromptu visit to Weipa, to use the hospital, on a Cape York trip. After a few rough experiences on the way up, Ash Palms felt like a little piece of luxury. Only 200m from Woolworths, the Hospital, a beach, and all the other shops, it's location was great. Inside, it was without doubt the largest unit we have ever stayed in, short of a presidential suite, with an innovative look on design for accommodation of this type being a breath of fresh air. Lay back far north service is to me one of the major attractions of this part of the world, and Ash Palms was no different. I don't write many reviews on anything, but this experience was motivating, and the experience should be experienced is worthwhile. Enjoy your stay.
