OK, im confused by this place, we plan on going back to see if we have the same issues as our first visit. I made my reservation in person only to get there &n be told they didn't have it. I explained in the detail the person I spoke to the day etc and was told they would see what they could do !!. Whilst sat having a drink a member of the mngt team "barked" at the staff behind the bar telling them to hurry up. Probably motivational talk but in a manner to be expected in McDonalds not a restaurant. At this point I was ready to leave. We were eventually seated.Our waitress was fantastic, after picking for the 3rd time they had s a starter I wanted (sold out of the others). The rice that came out with the main wasn't warm but the starters and mains were well cooked.Presentation was lovely, the food cooked very well. Pudding was OK, nothing to shout about. We were charged for two cocktails that we didn't have so had to get this amended. Struggle to see how a restaurant on a bank holiday doesn't think it will get busy. I could type forever about this visit & am so annoyed about the miss balance. We will go back as the food was lovely but I will make the booking by phone & call and double check it. Im hoping they just had an off day. I would mark service as excellent if it was just based on our waitress.
