Established in 1993, Hot Pipis Restaurant at Mooloolaba boasts an oceanfront setting and award-winning reputation. Open 18 hours a day, with relaxed al fresco seating, this Sunshine Coast restaurant plays perfect host to a coffee date, hearty breakfast, light lunch or sophisticated dinner. Hot Pipis specialises in fresh, locally caught seafood and the menu caters for all tastes, appetites and dietary needs (95% of the menu is gluten-free). Options might include plump ocean scallops teamed with pickled vegetables and a tamarind, chilli and coconut glaze to start, and for main, master stock braised leg and breast of duck served atop coriander and ginger infused sweet potato mash with steamed greens and an orange and star anise glaze.

Consumer service- very, very good. We went there on very busy night. Had to wait for an hr for a table for 4 & were politely informed that they would look after us if we had no prob waiting. We didn't as we ave heard such great reviews for this restaurant. They took our number, suggested a nearby place to relax go for a drink & called us when a table was available. The meals were SO good. Dessert particularly sensational. No qualms recommending Hot Pipis.

Just got back from another long weekend up the coast. Had the Chef's Sicillian Sunrise for breakfast the first morning............just beautiful. Also had Hot Pipi's world famous Seafood Curry this visit, it is just amazing. As usual the service was fantastic...way to go gang!

We stay at Mooloolabah on a regular basis. We have tried a few of the restaurants and cafes along the strip but Hot Pipis is our number one choice. We have breakfast there every morning and it is our main choice for dinner too. The food is always fantastic and well presented. The service is excellent,the staff friendly and the coffee.............well I NEED one now! My favourite breakfast is their Eggs Benedict or the avocado on sourdough toast. Love their barramundi for dinner and still have to try their seafood curry...oh and make sure you leave room for coffee and dessert!

My Experience @ Hot Pipis was so relaxing. Went there on a dark stormy Monday night and had our 3 beautiful kids with us. The service and staff were so great! We all loved what we ordered and the waiter recommend a white wine that was perfect with our meal. Then to finish with dessert. Coffee with a difference.!! Yum.. Think hubby and I will have to go back without the kids. :-)
