Amazing beachfront views & food to match!
Breakfast was delicious - tempting menu & very yummy! To be sitting on the beach with lapping waves so close & fantastic friendly service we will definitely be coming back to enjoy a meal here again!!

Great food and service but the meal was too big so we couldn't eat entrée or pudding. Disappointing as we had planned and were looking forward to a meal out.

The location of this restaurant is right on the beach, it would have to be the most romantic, scenic, setting in Queensland. Dine out doors to the resonance of the sea, with all the accompanying sounds, view the setting sun, or dine indoors with intimate, comfortable, surroundings, without losing the view, celebrate a special occasion, or get married on the beach, then drift into the Bistro for the reception. The interior is very spacious, with a wide frontage of glass, making the most of the beautiful scenery. The modern decor is predominately in white and grey shades, very stylish with unusual modern art and black and white photos on the walls. A built in book case at one end, is lined with pressed metal and then adorned with antique books and other interesting mementos. Pressed metal also decorates a counter and columns near the entrance, which features blinds with a narrative from "the last days of Pompeii" printed on them, fascinating. Three groupings of, string and cane ball light shades, white bird cages, and dark balls strung at varying lengths, all add to the visually stimulating environment, yet over-all creates a lovely gentle ambience. From an excellent menu, with daily specials, we chose an Eye fillet of Kilcoy beef, on smashed desiree potatoes, garden peas, roasted pimento salsa and mushroom jus, the preparation and presentation of the steak was perfect, and, a caramelised pork belly, on shiitake mushroom prawn and asparagus nasi goreng, sour pineapple achar, and sticky tamarind glaze, hot and spicy, with very crisp crackling. A carefully selected wine list accompanies your dining choice. Highly recommended.
