The moment we drove down the drive to reception we pictured a spectacular site - quaint cottages surrounded by an exquisite garden. Such a welcome continued with the hospitality of the owners John and Penny during our 2 night stay in a queen cottage of cosy comfort. Adding to the experience after a 'hard day' of scenic driving through the Ballandean wine trail was the nightly dining, which began with an aperitif by the main lounge's fireplace for guest to relax. Great food and wine followed: the food of local ingredients cooked with passion and the wine selected from John's list of local premium wines. The Vineyard Cottages and Cafe provide a must do getaway experience, coupled with John and Penny's obliging hospitality.
