About Waddi Trees
The Waddi Trees are one of Australia's rarest plants, it has spiky needle-like leaves & thick bark. Some samples of the seeds were found in the diary of the early explorer William John Wills after his death. It is now a proteced spieces. The Waddi Trees can be seen 14kms north of Birdsville,on the Birdsville-Bedourie Rd.
