Located at Runaway Bay, Indian Whisper Restaurant is a great little joint for a delicious curry and so easy to find… Seek out the roundabout of Lae and Oxley Drives. Indian Whisper has received multiple accolades since opening and you will find it cosy and comfortable here. They predominantly serve north Indian cuisine, along with some south and north-east Indian dishes, otherwise known as Assamese. The menu includes a range of wonderful curries and breads. Popular favourites such as the creamy butter chicken, spicy beef vindaloo and flavourful lamb rogan josh make for a great meal and are definitely worth a try.

Indian Whisper Restaurant is a classy and casual Indian restaurant at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast. The restaurant offers very authentic Indian food and some fusion and innovative dishes from all major parts of India.

The restaurant menu is plentiful in its variety, with an extensive selection of entrées and main dishes, all of which include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian variations and dishes.

Our specialty in providing excellence to our customers is embedded in the quality meats - lamb, beef, chicken, seafood and vegetables. Additionally, there are plenty of authentic Indian breads to choose from that are handmade in the traditional tandoori oven, openly displayed and cooked in front of the customers. The menu also offers a wide selection of banquets, desserts, coffee and Indian Masala chai tea.

It is of paramount importance that Indian Whisper Restaurant consistently provides quality service to our customers by asking them to provide suggestions for improvement. The restaurant always put forth great effort to go above and beyond to exceed the expectations of our customers and provide a pleasant experience.

We provide a personal experience to our customers by getting them involved with as many Indian related activities in the restaurant as we can. Indian Whisper has hosted many belly dancing shows, played traditional Indian music and also held a traditional Indian costume competition for customers.

Overall it maintains a high level of standard from its staff and in its products. Maintaining the authenticity of Indian culture and cuisine is very important to us, which is why we only use spices, rice, herbs, etc. imported directly from India.

INDIAN WHISPER RESTAURANT SERVICE
To sustain the proficiency of our staff we ensure that all are personally trained by Dipak, the owner, who holds a masters degree in hospitality from Griffith University. This helps to create a positive atmosphere that is evident within our establishment. Our staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about our products.

The restaurant celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2010, which says a lot. For more than a decade we have satisfied local customers who continue to come back for more. We are well known locally, always working hard to ensure repeat clientele especially over the last couple years as there are many competitors coming in. We try to ensure that we are our customer's first choice and do a great job at it. We now offer weekly specials with flavourful variety for regular customers who want to explore other dishes rather than their usual.

BEVERAGES AT INDIAN WHISPER RESTAURANT
Indian Whisper is a licensed restaurant and has a nice selection of wines and beers and some non-alcoholic drinks to meet everyone taste. It serves white, red, rose, sparkling and some mixed blends of wine and the menu also offers a lot of beer. Kingfisher Indian beer is our best selling beer and highly recommended. The restaurant also offers some Indian drinks such as our popular lassi, available in three flavours: Sweet, salt and mango.

It is a hidden treasure on the Gold Coast. Once you've tasted Deepaks food, your won't ever want to go to another Indian Resturant. Without a doubt!

We were the only diners, however there was PLENTY of takeaway orders being collected whilst we were there (Sunday evening).
The service was very good and the food, outstanding, the best Indian we have EVER tasted. (We have tried just about every Indian restaurant we've seen).

Fridays and Saturdays are always busy so be prepared to wait. And yes, they do wait because their food is soooo good.
