Bundaberg, Coral Coast & Country is located on the sub-tropical central coast of Queensland which provides a climate envied by most cities. Moderate summer days give way to balmy tropical evenings. Average temperatures in summer range from 20°C to 29°C. Winter days are mild and dry, averaging 22°C maximums and there are fewer than 18 wet days throughout the season. Rainfall is concentrated through the warmer months, when tropical thunderstorms bring a cooling change after a sultry day. The climatic conditions make it possible to enjoy the outdoors throughout the whole year.
Getting Around Bundaberg/Coral Coast & Country
The Bundaberg Airport is located on the south west outskirts of the City. Flight time to Brisbane is approximately 50 minutes. Bundaberg is located on the main North Coast Railway between Brisbane and Cairns. The Tilt Train provides 2 services per day between Bundaberg and Brisbane. Travel time is 4 hours. Regular rail services also operate along the eastern seaboard. By road Bundaberg is four to five hours north of Brisbane. Several coach companies service Bundaberg & the Coral Coast, with regular services to Brisbane and other parts of the state. Regular bus services operate around the city and between the city and the beach throughout the week. Standard, maxi and wheelchair capable cabs are also available.
