Every neighbourhood has a favourite Italian restaurant and for Strathpine, it’s Ziggabali’s. A wonderful aroma fills the simple interior, spilling out into the extensive alfresco dining area where you’ll find local families tucking into generous portions of authentic, home style Italian food. Ziggabali’s affordable menu offers classic and modern Italian favourites created by chef /owner Earl Snijders. Recommended specialties include Scallopine Ziggabali’s – pan fried scallops of pork fillet served with a tasty combination of prawns, avocado, cracked pepper and a white wine cream sauce.

THE ZIGGABALI'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT

Ziggabali's Italian Restaurant has been open since 2003, and we cooked for forty people with no advertising straight away. It was a great success and we discovered the local community had a great appetite for restaurants so we were able to establish quickly after that.

Since then we have expanded our restaurant capacity to seat 130, and provide a comfortable licensed venue for parties of all sizes, from groups to an intimate couple. We also have a BYO options with a $2 per bottle corkage fee. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed atmosphere where diners can sit back and have a good conversation with their friends and family, a couple of drinks and some good food.

With a focus on flavour and freshness, our meals are also known to be good value, for example you can share a pizza for the reasonable price of $19.90. Just as we have a small corkage fee, there is also an affordable birthday cake charge of $1 per slice.

Over the years we have developed a loyal following of local diners who appreciate our food and fine service from longtime staff. Our kitchen team of chefs have all worked at the Italo-Australian Centre where we've been influenced by great cooks, including Luisa Fachin. Ziggabali's waitstaff have also been with us for many years so there is a strong familiarity amongst everyone as we serve from a menu characterized by strength and integrity.

Striving for consistent quality in our food and service, our menu has changed over the years and now includes longstanding popular favourites such as spaghetti marinara, lasagne, stuffed mushrooms, garlic pizza bread, capricciosa pizza and chicken involtini.

We had dinner at Ziggabali's on Valentine's Day 2012. The food and service was amazing!! Huge meals and the best seafood pasta I've had in a long time. My husband was also very impressed. We will definately be back with the kids :)
