The New Indian in Town: Curry India has opened it doors in Everton Hills. The proud owner has implemented a TRY BEFORE YOU BUY policy so that first time customers know what they are getting before they go home. Never in the history of the restaurant industry has this strategy been attempted and it is working miracles. As a result at least 25% of the regular customers have never eaten Indian food prior to experiencing the flavours of Curry India.
There has been a very positive response from customers and nothing but praise about the flavours. "We are able to serve a wide range of customers" said the owner. "From the most experienced tongue to the novice and even the hesitant, every person has been converted to our flavours immediately". From the serving sizes to the tenderness of the meats to the fact that each dish has it's own unique signature flavour, the food, menu and service all radiate premium quality.
The owner and head chef are also promoting healthy food as Indians themselves traditionally eat in their homes the world over. For example basmati rice is served and chilli is served on the side to eliminate stomach problems and other burning sensations. Heavy oils have been eliminated from the cooking process to enhance the freshness of the ingredients and provide a light meal.
Curry India's reputation for product quality and friendly service has rapidly spread throughout Brisbane via word of mouth. People are travelling 30 minutes or more to dine in because they had heard about the restaurant. Neighbouring customers are saying repeatedly how thankful they are to be so close to such a fantastic Indian restaurant.
The flavours and food concepts have been developed from a customer point of view. As a customer of Indian food until recently the owner met up with a very talented chef and worked together to create something different to what has been in the market place to date. Product innovation has been another point of difference for Curry India. For example there is tender calamari (chickpea batter: gluten free) and Curry India seasoned chips, chicken nuggets, gourmet chicken or beef pies, chicken Caesar salad, seafood platter and much more. Anyone from the non Indian customer to children to Indian connoisseurs are all catered for easily in the funky alfresco dining concept.
Unlike any other Indian restaurant, Curry India also features a kids menu. Items such as pasta, Curry India's raisin damper, chips, calamari and nuggets are also available. Kids under 10 years eat for $10 including a 375ml soft drink, children under 3 years eat free. Children's specials apply on family nights only for dine in customers.
The menu is 90% Gluten Free, 100% peanut free, meals are healthy and light (no ghee used), BYO, Merlo Espresso Coffee, Family nights Monday and Tuesday. There is ample parking and bookings are essential for dine in customers. Deliveries are also available.
