We always eat at kanishk and the food is great. This time I tried the crab. The flavours was outstanding. What was also pleasing was the care the staff took with us. They provided us with napkins and finger bowls so that we enjoyed the experience. If you go to Kanishk you have to try their crab.

i just visited kanishk last Sunday and it was one of the best experience in my life with the food.I am also chef so i can justify the quality of the food.From last 2 years i am in Brisbane and almost all the Indian restaurant i visit but this one is totally different either food or quality or service or the interior. The quality of food in kanishk is really healthy and pure specially the chicken biriyani so amazing.Even they not using any artificial thing in currys like colour or thicken cream. I am so glad to write feedback about them because they deserve it. thank you

Wonderful ambience, delicious food and absolutely impeccable service. The complimentary mango lassi was an example of the little things that raise this restaurant way above most others, no matter what cuisine.

We were invited by our friends to have a Indian feast at Kanishk restaurant. I can honestly say it was the best we've ever had. A real feast served by wonderful the staff, this restaurant should be voted the best in Brisbane. :)!!!!!!!!!!

Being an Indian and having grown up eating home cooked Indian meals throughout my life, it has been extremely difficult to find a true authentic Indian restaurant here in Brisbane. Well that was all till now. We have been to Kanishk twice in nearly as many weeks. First impressions as you enter suggests this is just not any other ordinary Indian restaurant. Traditional décor with a modern twist and pleasant instrumental music give this restaurant a warm and cosy dining atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and the service is very professional. The food, well where to begin. Starting off with entrées of Amritsari fish and Kholapuri tiger prawns followed by mains including chicken Dhaniwal and Musallam lamb shanks. All this was pefectly accompanied with crispy fresh garlic naan and cool mango lassi. The highlight meal however was the masala mud crabs, a chef’s special. It is to die for! In a nutshell, this is by far the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The name Kanishk I believe is the name of a famous Indian King and boy, do you feel like one at the end with an exhilarating dining experience.
