Churras Overview

Churrascaria: a restaurant that serves different cuts of roasted meat. Rodizio: the method of continuous service. Combine these with upbeat Brazilian music, unique service and an aroma of spice and all things nice and you have Churras – a tasty Brazilian barbeque restaurant in Sydney offering an unique 'must try' dining experience. Churras allows guests to choose their skewered meats presented by gauchos (or South American waiters) who then cut up meat individually for customers. More than just an exotic dining experience, Churras knows how to celebrate in style; for birthday bookings over 10, the host dines for free – a perfect destination for all celebrations.

As one of a party of 9 we dined at Churras last night. Attentive service by friendly staff, and everyone enjoyed the meal. Most servings were excellent, with only a couple at the O.K. level - the coconut prawns were a little dry and one of the beef servings a bit chewy, but not enough to complain about. Sometimes the salt in the seasoning is noticable, but added to the flavour rather than drowning it. I only mention it because I know some people prefer unsalted dishes. Certainly no-one in our party commented on it. The sides (salsa, rice, bean sauce, salad) kept coming on demand as well. Everyone had a great time and the bill including a bottle of wine, softdrink and beers totalled $470 for 9 people. NOTE: A churrascaria is NOT FOR VEGETARIANS!
