East Ocean Restaurant Overview

For a sensational seafood experience, look no further than the East Ocean Restaurant located in the heart of Chinatown. Established in the 1980's East Ocean had a change of management in 2001. Since this time the restaurant has undergone a considerable transformation.

EAST OCEAN RESTAURANT STYLE
The dining rooms have been refurbished so that you feel as though you are dining amongst royalty. The main dining room seats over 300 people and is perfect for large wedding banquets, business functions and conferences. The three private function rooms have karaoke systems and are suitable for business functions and parties.

EAST OCEAN RESTAURANT MENU
A number of the chefs have China national grade qualification. They use their vast experiences to create sensational dishes using fresh produce such as Tasmanian lobster and Queensland mud crab. You may even like to choose your live seafood from the tank.

Specialties include King Crab which is available as three courses - Braised with Ginger and Shallot, XO sauce or Salt and Pepper and Noodle Stir-Fried with King Crab Roe. The superb Peking Duck is served as two courses . First the Roasted Peking Duck is served in a Chinese Pancake with Shallot, Cucumber and "Hoi-sin sauce". The second course may be San Choy Bau, Noodle with shredded duck, or Hot-and-Sour soup. East Ocean is also known as one of Sydney's leading Yum Cha restaurants.

EAST OCEAN RESTAURANT WINE OPTIONS
A sommelier has been appointed and is available on selected evenings. He will be happy to guide you through the international wine list and advise you of the most appropriate wines to complement the extraordinary dishes available.

EAST OCEAN RESTAURANT SERVICE
East Ocean has a newly appointed Business Strategy Director whose aim is to enhance the quality of operation and service. If you want to experience the best of Cantonese fine dining, get a group of friends together and let the professional staff guide you through a dining experience to remember.

East Ocean is open 365 days per year between 10 am and 2 am (Mon - Fri) and between 9 am and 2 am (Sat, Sun, Public holidays). Haymarket Wilson Carpark offers a $6 flat parking rate between 5 pm and 1 am every day.

All major credit cards are accepted as well as JCB and CUP.
