The Clock Restaurant & Wine Lounge Overview

The 1940s building that is now The Clock Restaurant & Wine Lounge, has gone from servicing customers finances, to now their palate. You’ll be charmed the moment you arrive at this Griffith gem, with the classic original structure still in place & warm light globes that set the mood & memory to come. Staff warmly attend to your needs yet have a relaxed manner & presence. The menu may have Orange blossom honey glazed duck breast, cranberry & star anise glaze, potato spring roll & steamed greens.

Our dining room and bar are situated in a spectacular 1940s-banking chamber in Banna Ave in Griffith. The restaurant has retained many of its original features and has been renovated using contemporary style with an emphasis on comfort.

THE FOOD
Our food is about honesty and simplicity using the freshest produce and local ingredients to achieve a balance of taste and textures. Presentation is important, but the focus for us is cooking correctly and creating dishes that eat well. The style of service is warm and friendly with an emphasis on understanding our diners' individual needs. The wine lounge allows us to showcase the strength of the region's local wineries as well as offering a comprehensive list of cellared wines.

This glorious fertile region in New South Wales means you can't go past menu items that are simple in there description, yet amazing in their taste. For instance an entree of Parmesan polenta, roasted mushrooms, balsamic & blue cheese sauce with fresh rocket would certainly get the taste buds going. Accompany that with any of the wines from the region and your evening is just starting! Moving on to main the Chermoula spiced chicken supreme, warm salad of canellini beans, grilled eggplant & capsicum, complimented with Greek yogurt & dukkah is a wonderful combination of European influences together with great produce. Desserts don't have to be rich & sinful the Citrus scented crepes filled with lemon curd, with strawberries & mint is a light & refreshing way to finish your evening.
