About The Island Restaurant
Dine overlooking the greens and Nambucca River at The Island Restaurant on Stuart Island. Located within the Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club, this dining destination offers a warm and welcoming vibe for relaxing after a round at one of Australia’s most picturesque golf courses; watch dolphins swim by in the pristine river as pelicans, osprey and sea eagles fly overhead. From a Mod Oz menu with Asian and Mediterranean influences, enjoy lunch offerings such as beer-battered fish, chips, salad, tartar sauce and lemon; while the dinner crowd sips an icy glass of wine and delves into entrées of crispy chicken wings smothered in buffalo sauce. For the main, try crumbed lamb cutlets, creamy mash, vegetables and gravy, or herb and Parmesan-crumbed pork sirloin, wedges, salad and Dijon sauce.
