The Cessnock Hotel

Could not fault this place. I paid $45 for a double room. It was share bathroom but I've never seen a pub, or a motel, as clean as this. It is old but has been renovated and there is no "old" smell at all and now stale alcohol smell as some pubs have. Also did not see one cockroach. The owner and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had been to the vineyards on the Saturday and they let us keep all of our cheeses etc in their fridge until we left. There was no check out time on Sunday so we got to have a great time in the pub the night before and sleep in on the Sunday. You could hear the music from the pub a little but ear plugs blocked that out completely. Will definitely be returning and telling all my friends!!
