Eschalot Restaurant is a beautiful 100-year-old stone building situated in Berrima in the Southern Highlands. Their rooms are lit by chandeliers and candles and is intimate and comfortable. It's the perfect place to hold your dream wedding and reception.

With classical gardens surrounding the main dining house, the formal courtyard during summer can also be utilised for weddings and formal functions.

Eschalot is the perfect venue for and we can happily organise anything from a simple cocktail party to a seated set course menu for up to 100 guests.

I went with a party of 14 people to Eschalot on Saturday 11 April. We originally booked for 8 people but changed to 14 at the last moment. This was obviously difficult as it was Easter but they accommodated us with good grace. The food and service were excellent. I had duck which was superb. Having raised ducks it was obvious that they had sourced the best quality. My fellow diners were equally pleased.We look forward to returning. P. McCullough
