About The Ginger Room

Located in the former private dining rooms at the Old Parliament House, with celebrated Chef Janet Jeffs at the helm, the Ginger Room remains one of Australia’s premier restaurants. The décor is sophisticated and minimalist, and the service is executed with efficiency and grace. The Australian cuisine with radical Asian influence though is what steals the show: Beef, venison and emu carpaccio with beetroot jelly; Roasted guinea fowl on a walnut pancake with mushrooms and brandy mascarpone sauce.
