Located in the heart of Canberra city, Tree Eighty3 Cafe and Caterers on London Circuit has progressed far from the humble food van it was in the early 1980s. Relaxing among country decor with a 5 Senses coffee in hand, diners watch on as Chefs hand-pick aromatic herbs from a hanging wall garden to complement dishes full of local produce. Expect mouth-watering pork roasted in-house in a Pork Bar, while free-range eggs, natural raw honey and seasonal organic vegetables are all harvested from an organic farm in Gundaroo. Paddock-to-plate produce is used in dishes like sautéed mushrooms in chilli and basil butter, grilled zucchini strips and seared halloumi; or breakfast bruschetta, on thick-cut sourdough toast with grilled beetroot and torn herb salsa, house roasted tomato and poached eggs.
