About Namadgi National Park

Located 45 minutes’ drive south of the city at the northern end of the Australian Alps, Namadgi National Park is 105 900 hectares and makes up more than half of the ACT. It has eight peaks higher than 1700m and offers spectacular bushwalking, rock climbing & camping. Features include bold granite outcrops and stunning wilderness with a wide variety of flora and fauna including kangaroos, wallabies and wombats. Be sure not to miss the Indigenous rock art and Aboriginal shelters.
