Had my birthday here last Saturday night!!! This place is great for a night out with dinner and entertainment. There belly dancer was very professional and entertaining and the live music had us up and dancing from 9 till 12am! Great food and service! Highly recommend :))
Had the best kababs here!! Sunday buffet is so worth the $25!! Would really recommend. They specialize In BBQ kababs for the last 17 years. Make sure you book they are always fully booked!!!
Do not go here! I ordered a takeaway here last night first of all the person who took the order did not not know that there was a 'Persian salad' on their website menu. This salad did not have a price but he confirmed it would be $9. I them picked up the meal and they had added $2 to the main meal because the website hadn't been updated! When I said if that was my fault or the restaurants fault, the only remark he could make was that I had saved money on the salad as it was $7. I pointed out that he was wrong and that I had been charged $9. It was $4 in only total, but it was the fact that they were rude and argumentative that I'm writing this review. Food was nothing spectacular either.

In 1998, our love for Persian food together with sweet memories of family gatherings whilst growing up inspired us to open our first restaurant "ANAHITA" on Longueville Road, Lane Cove. Our humble 80 seat capacity restaurant carried our dream; to make Persian cuisine known to Australians and to have a place were fellow Persians could come and enjoy a night out with our home made food. In 2002 we made a bigger decision to move in to our current location Burns Bay road, lane cove. We can now seat up to 180 guests catering for all occasions such as dinner for two, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, kitchen teas, engagements, christenings, outside catering for up to 1000 people and many more happy occasions. A father and daughter team, we personally source and handpick fresh local produce from our local markets and only work with trustworthy suppliers. We are passionate about the quality and taste of our traditional Persian cuisine and hold high standards in our customer service offering. As of December 2014, we have been proudly trading for 16 years. Two years ago Jalal retired and Sabrina has continued to operate the business with her husband Alofa as the newest family member at Persian basement. Given Jalal's passion and love for the establishment, he continues to be the manager of our PERSIAN BASEMENT. Together they run Sydney's most established Persian Restaurant. To enter into this Promotion, entrants must be registered as a member of the Australian Good Food and Travel Guide. Members can enter into the Promotion by submitting a review of any establishment following the 3 entry guidelines:
(1. Uploading a photo; 2. Submitting a review; 3. Uploading a copy of the itemised bill receipt; EFTPOS receipts will not be accepted). Entry is only valid if all entry guidelines are completed. The Promoter reserves the right
to verify the validity of entries. Each member may enter multiple times.
Entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant. SPAM entries are not acceptable. The entries will be judged according to originality and creativity. Winners will be selected at the Promoters discretion. The
Promoter reserves the right to choose any respondent whom has submitted a review following the entry guidelines. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Chance plays no part in determining
Winners will receive a prize or prizes up to or equal to the value of the receipt submitted as part of their review. Prizes and their values are at the sole discretion of the promoter and may include cash, vouchers and/or gifts.
Where the prize involves a meal and/or performance the Promoter shall not be responsible for transport, accommodation or any other such associated costs with the taking of the prize unless otherwise stated in the prize details.
Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to prizes in transit. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited
to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by

Winners will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone according to the details provided in their member registration and the requirements of the promotion. Should an entrant's contact details change during the promotional period,
it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office
of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and residency. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event
that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
By entering the promotion, all entries become the property of the Promoters. The Promoter reserves the right to use the content of the review in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further
reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for AGFG to use the winner's name, suburb and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the
Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with
the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
