Great food
The food is amazing, from the pizza to the zucchini flowers to the pork belly. Fantastic. The specials board is always full of new and delicious mains and desserts. Steaks are always cooked perfectly to your liking. The bolognese is comfort food at its best. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone or group for a delicious meal. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Wine list is well chosen. Beers are cold.

Good pizza much much better than pizza hut
Great food, great service!
We make regular trips up the M5 from Hurstville for a Balck Rose pizza, pasta or spare-ribs. The food at Black Rose is well worth the distance travelled and the service is top notch. Would recommend to anyone looking for fine italian food.

Superb food experience in a cafe setting
Even though the place calls itself a cafe, the food there is something you'd expect to see in a CBD restaurant! Sensational. Easily one of the best food venues in Liverpool. Their coffee kicks goals too :)

A regular haunt of mine, but not only due to the excellent family service but also from what is most definitely the absolute best coffee in the area.Beyond coffee this is the place for home cooked Italian food, everything from pastas to pizza's and extra mains thrown in. For dinner on this occasion I grabbed the scallops served on Parmesan crusted asparagus with prosciutto chips, simply excellent. For mains a medium steak (sirloin) with vegetables and a mushroom sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce added that little bit extra. For desert a latte and a slice of the chefs Apple/Custard slice.

Never a disappointment. Fresh flavoursome and always something new to try. Every dish has the undivided attention of the amazing chefs. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you will not be disappointed.
