Recently refurbished and renamed after Josef Chromy’s late wife, Alida is a modern cocktail bar and restaurant with a sit-up seafood and charcuterie bar, alongside a menu showcasing local produce. Take a seat indoors amid white plastered walls and white-clothed tables and admire the water views, while contemplating Mod Oz lunch offerings like Bloody Mary oysters, bug and brioche rolls and potato gnocchi. Evening diners may opt for small plates of grilled half shell scallops with garlic and chorizo, before memorable mains like eye fillet, topped with grilled King prawns, garlic confit potatoes, honey roasted carrots, sauteed greens and Bernaise sauce.
