Atrium Garden

Had a very nice meal here on Saturday night, with Dragonlady, Nedgirl & Psychomum.

The seafood was high quality, prawns, crabs, mussels, octopus etc. Cooked perfectly, no rubber prawns at all.The cold meats and salads were fresh and crisp.Disappointment came with the hot food, the Lamb Rogan Josh meat was so dry, we had to drink while we chewed, flavour was nice though. The chicken vindaloo on the other hand lacked any flavour at all. The remaing hot foods were very nice.

Highlight of the meal was probably the fresh pasta cooked at station for Dragonlady. You select the ingredients you want and the chef cooks them. Basically Dragonlady chose a chicken pasta in a cream white wine sauce. The balances of flavour were perfect with each ingredient complementing the others on beautiful fresh penne. One of those dishes that causes you to overeat.

Dinner was finished with a great selection of gateaux, and fresh fruits. The passion fruit jelly made with fresh passion fruit was for big kids as well as little. Yummy. The fruit was all fresh and the chocolate fountain was dangerous to the waist line.

Cheeses were a nice selection and finished the meal tidily.We all left feeling too well fed and satisified, and vowing to meet again there in the near future.
