About Choc Dee Thai Restaurant
Founded in 1999, Choc Dee Thai Restaurant on Williams Esplanade is the venue for sumptuous Thai cuisine overlooking the waters of Palm Cove. Enjoy a relaxed evening in a beachside restaurant surrounded by lush ferns, with a laid-back atmosphere suited to this getaway destination. Inside, transparent mesh makes the walls between bamboo pillars, enclosed above by a white sail ceiling for a semi-alfresco vibe and diners are shown to dark timber settings or lounge-style booths for a leisurely meal. Authentic techniques are used to recreate Thai flavours, presented in a variety of vegetarian dishes, stir-fries and curries; perhaps delve into ginger prawns on pepper leaves to start, before a main of Crying Tiger – fillet steak, fresh garden salad and housemade sauce – or green chicken curry.

Lovely staff, great vegan thai food and lovely location
I went there for my 21st birthday. I am a vegan, and they have accommodated me with the best vegan pad thai and vegan curry ever. I am Thai so I love spice, the "Thai hot" was amazing! Craig, the owner is so kind. I would definitely go back.
