About Green Zebra

Kawana Island’s Green Zebra restaurant offers trendy waterside dining for Parrearra locals and those journeying through the iconic Sunshine Coast region. Diners relax on a sun-drenched deck and children play joyously on the white canal sands just beyond while friendly staff deliver trays of refreshing drinks and sumptuous lunchtime fare. As crisp blue skies change to dazzling pink and purple sunset hues, a sleek cocktail bar comes alive and the kitchen offers an array of tantalising options with wines to match. Delve into crispy skilled, wild caught barramundi with sautéed green beans, black olives, chilli, smoked Noosa tomatoes and almonds and salsa verde, paired with a 2013 Pinot Grigio from Italy’s Firenze, sparing room for a vanilla crème brulee with pistachio ice-cream for dessert.

A rare find - like a Green Zebra
As the name suggests - this is a rare find. Located on Kawana Island where 'Montego's on the Bay 'used to operate from you will find a real hidden treasure in dining. Green Zebra provides both simple and classic combinations of food - and they claim that everything is homemade from scratch every day. They have a well thought out menu which is reasonably priced. They support local Sunshine Coast suppliers by purchasing quality produce from local farmers, wineries and many micro-breweries.By day you can dine while enjoying the view of the sandy beach and the double bay. Their lunch menu is very reasonable with many meals under $16. Last night the Wild Barra and the Seafood Pasta were outstanding. And we couldn't go past the dessert tasting platter - crepes, brownie, meringue, sticky date, Panna Cotta & more. A really good dining experience with great service (well done girls). Good luck to Adrian & his team
