Enjoy an authentic Italian meal in the surrounds of a classic late 19th Century Victorian warehouse at Vicolo Cafe & Wine Bar. Located in Sydney’s oldest laneway on Kent Street, the former jam factory boasts a rustic interior complete with a stunning arched doorway and a bold brass counter. Chef Mario Izzo’s menu is beautiful in its simplicity, with a focus on classic Italian ingredients. Early riser dishes delight with the likes of a breakfast plate with soft boiled egg, sliced avocado, goats' cheese, cherry tomato, prosciutto and sourdough, while the lunch crowd enjoys pulled pork burgers with apple slaw, or a healthy smoked salmon salad with rocket, fennel, cucumber and avocado, washed down nicely with a glass of Pasqua Pinot Grigio. FAVOURITE CBD CAFE
Have been coming here for the past year as its close to my office, it is an absolute incredible space. Beautiful food, and fantastic feel to it. The staff are all very welcoming and even though it does get very busy in the mornings and lunchtime, they never keep you waiting long. I have had client lunches and catering here too. Very consistent with the food and coffee.
And the coffee is excellent too!!
