Homed by a revamped old corner shop, Billykart is a stylish mix of bright lighting, room enough to move with ease and contemporary décor, popping with bold colours here and there, and spritzy little pot plants attached to thin pillars. Though licensed and serving dinner on Friday evenings, Billykart’s main focus stays with delectable breakfasts and lunch through the week that change to follow seasonal produce. Offerings come artfully plated, from Liege Belgian waffles with malted caramel, blueberries and crème fraiche to buttermilk brined chicken with yoghurt, lemon, zucchini and pine nuts.
