Located within a stroll of the blue waters of Toowoon Bay, The Bay Café is a favourite with locals for serving fresh seafood from its welcoming venue on Bay Road. Enter to discover a contemporary vibe styled with polished wood floors, a vibrant red feature wall, high-back leather chairs and black and white photography hung on the walls, creating a modern dining space ideal for celebrating any occasion; which sees the café at capacity most weekends, making bookings essential. Offering a Mod Oz menu with tastes of outback Australia, perhaps try sea scallops tossed in mornay sauce, glazed with cheese and served with a salad garnish; or beef fillet, prawns, scallops, calamari, oysters and Hollandaise sauce. Indulge in a divine dessert of chocolate mud cake, chocolate mousse and ice cream.

Christmas Parties at The Bay Café are a fun way to celebrate with friends and family. The restaurant is decorated for Christmas to help you relax and enjoy the festive season with great food and friendly staff to look after you and your guests.
Peter Mortimer has been the owner chef at The Bay Cafe for more than 22 years. Over the years this restaurant has become a local favourite and is also very popular with visitors to the area. Specialising in Fresh Seafood, including Seafood Platters for 2 and the very popular Prawn Fantasia. As well as offering a large al a carte menu and children's menu. Set Menus are also available, corkage charge is only $3.00 per person which makes it a simple way to organise a group booking with no fuss. We also have a 2 course or 3 course set menu available anytime except Saturday nights that is excellent value and very popular. The Bay Cafe is Open for Lunch from Thursday through to Sunday offering a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a lunch with friends and family. Open 6 nights from 6pm. Closed Mondays.
