This year ( as in previous years) I booked my family Christmas Lunch on the Sunday before Xmas Once again it was truly amazing The Food is superb, the venue just unbelievable Nothing is ever a problem, on leaving my family asked if we could come back for Christmas 2015, and it is booked- Thank you Robbie, Sally and staff Graham Farish

This place never disappoints me Have had the pleasure of dinning at Robert and Sally's restaurants for over 30 years. His food is made with love. Great location, great service and food with love. You can't ask for anything more.

We ordered the baked figs wrapped in prosciutto with gorgonzola and the goats cheese stuffed zucchini flowers (both delicious) for entrees and the rosemary crusted lamb rack with lemon, eggplant and tomatoes and filet mignon for mains. We had the apple cumble and Frangelico affogato for dessert. The dishes were wonderful, well-cooked, beautiful flavours and fine quality meat- and also not tiny portions, which you often find at exy restaurants. The service was good and wine also lovely. The view is magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We would go back again and recommend to others.

We were eager to exploit the superb setting of this beautiful looking restaurant but the food was particularly disappointing. The confit of goose was dry, tough and uninteresting, the lamb's brains lacked flavour, a fritture of sardines and calamari proved bony and uninspired, while the creme caramel was dry and over-cooked. The duck pate was delicious, kidneys hit their mark, and other desserts regained some ground, but we will be dining elsewhere on our next trip to the Hunter Valley.
