First time eating here tonight. Garlic bread for starters, cooked to perfection, perfect crunch, yet the inner still soft and filled with flavour! Red win beef cheeks with onion rings for the main, cooked to perfection. Tender and filled with flavour the the onion rings were delicious. Chips and hollandaise sauce for a side, perfect crunch and the sauce amazing. Enthusiastic and friendly service, 10/10 all round , thank you for the meal ????
This restaurant never disappoints. My steak is always cooked to perfection and other dishes are filled with so much flavour. I bit the bullet and had the big ribeye for dinner. One of the best pieces of meat I have ever eaten. The service is always friendly and welcoming, think this may have been our 10th time visiting this restaurant and we left extremely happy once again, not to mention bloody full!! Would recommend for a great meal!!

All ordered eye fillet or ribeye and all were cooked perfectly and the sauces so delicious (especially the mushroom one). We had onion rings, broccolini and a pumpkin salad as sides and they were great. Luckily we also ordered dessert and I had the trio - OMG!! Mini Churros, choc mousse and Creme Brulee Amazing!! Can't fault it, service was great also thanks Stefan.

Dined at the Blue Ox, last night. Amazing food, fantastic service, unfortunately only downside was we couldn't fit in dessert, which looked awesome. The soft shell crab for entree was to die for, could have repeated it again for mains. Everyone's mains were beautiful and the young lass that served us last night was very entertaining, thanks Linda for a wonderful night

The food is always great. Hard to imagine steak that melts in your mouth, but it does here.

The food and service is impeccable, we have been going there for a number of years now and its the one restaurant we take any visitors we may have and no one has ever been disappointed, it may appear expensive to some, but you pay for what you get and that is delicious food and excellent service.
Excellent service, great food, best oysters ive had and the deserts are to die for which v nearly did after eating starter and main course, but just soo good had to go for it, trying again for a table this weekend. Love it
nice atmosphere good setting, waitress knew her menu well and all the front staff were very friendly.The meals we ordered (steak, pork belly and salmon)were cooked to perfection and very tasty.There was a good range of wine and other beverages and the dessert menu was very good as well.Altough the mains were small they were priced well.Over all an enjoyable evening out.

Valentines Day - The restaurant was decorated in red and white with hearts around the room. We had a fantastic meal in a wonderful setting, the staff are always great and so helpful. This is definitely a place you would return too..
We went for dinner tonight with our ten month old. Great service and food. The cauliflour croquet was amazing would definitely go again just for that. The waitstaff were very child friendly, even had toys on hand. The portions are small for the price but the taste makes up for it.
We had dinner on Saturday night and had a fantastic meal. The service was excellent and the food was cooked to perfection.
Highly recommend it.

Awesome Entree's we had the salt and pepper marinated with a asian salad and also oyster kilpatrik and for mains eye fillet with mashed potatoe and salsa verde or with the croquet potatoe and mushroom sauce or brandy and pepporcorn sauce and Linda is an amazing host and the service is at the highest standards ..I will always keep going back ..The food has been of the highest standard since they opened I just wish they would open for lunch again.
What can I say that I didn't say last review. A really terrific place. From the Turkish Bread Dip (what was that cheese and garlic concoction? Fantastic!) Our mains were great. The Paella was the best I've had since the Spanish Club in Sydney 20 years ago. Pork Belly as usual outstanding(must be the signature dish)

This is a seriously good restuarant. From the moment we entered (two couples) we were made to feel welcome by the attentive (and attractive) staff. However the food was the highlight for all of us. Absolutely fantastic!!! This will be a regular haunt.
We have been to Blue Ox half a dozen times already, it is our new favourite restaurant, there is a good range on the menu, and it has never failed to be beautiful-taste and presentation! It is a welcoming and warm atmosphere, which is all thanks to a great team whose service is attentive, but not hovering. We have always left satisfied.
The food was very nice, the steak fantastic. The service was very good too. We had a fabulous meal, will come back. loved the Octopus salad.

We live in the Kalamunda Shire and so for us this restaurant is lovely and close by, BONUS. You will not be disappointed. The staff are outstanding and very attentive. The chef is wonderful. I have a wheat allergy and instead of telling me what I can't have, they ask me what I want and if they can modify it they will. I have never had a bad meal there. Put this restaurant on your Bucket List at the very least, YOU MUST GO. You will not be disappointed.
This is my new favourite restaurant. Small mother / daughter team. Owner / chef. The food was lovely. The sizes are great. The quality and freshness is of the food is great. The service staff were very riendly and knew an extended knowledge about anything on the menu. From the wide range of beers, to the wines or their famous selections and cuts of meat.Great for families, big birthday groups or an intimate dinner!!I have been once a month for the last 3 months as I have to eventually try everything on this fantastic menu!
we had an enjoyable meal and more than we expected. Family friendly with room for a pram. The staff came back quite often to check so great service on the night.The steak was very good and there are also seafood choices as well.
