Heritage Hotel Motel Dorrigo has 6 traditional park-at-the-door motel suites; Two spa suites, one of which has a separate sitting room and the other enjoys valley views for 20km over farmland to distant mountain ranges; and 5 verandah suites with original 1925 timber wardrobes, dressing tables and suitcase racks, and stained timber ceilings, picture rails, doors and skirting boards provide the old world charm of a 1925 hotel room but with ensuite facilities.

THE HERITAGE HOTEL FAMILY BISTRO
Fresh local product features in menus that change weekly are available in the Hotel's Family Bistro. Local honey smoked trout being a specialty. The Family Bistro is open 7 days a week.

The stained timber bistro tables are the original 1925 dining room tables constructed from local hoop pine tops with Queensland maple legs. Homemade country meals that use fresh local produce are a feature of the hotel's family bistro.
There is also an extensive wine list boasting over 50 labels.
LOCATION OF THE HERITAGE HOTEL/MOTEL
Dorrigo is the gateway to the amazing World Heritage Dorrigo National Park with its "sky walk" and "walk with the birds" board walk. In summer months swim at Dangar Falls or experience the delight of standing under the Crystal Falls. Situated 45 minutes from the beach on Waterfall Way that links the Pacific Highway at Urunga to the New England Highway at Armidale. Waterfall Way has a number of spectacular and different waterfalls.
There are 12 National Parks within 45 minutes drive of Dorrigo including Cathedral Rocks and Point Lookout in New England National Park. Armidale is also easily accessed from Dorrigo and makes a great drive as many waterfalls are passed.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Heritage Hotel. Unfortunately for us we were unable to get a balcony room (due to them being booked out), but the room we were in was suitable for our stay. It was very clean, as was the whole hotel. Now for the food! My god! It was divine. It was first class food and they catered for me as I am coeliac. The staff which included the chef and assistant went out of their way to make sure the food was perfect. I would go there just to eat the food. Would I recommend this hotel? Most definitely. Also, the locals are very friendly also.
